Where will the event take place?

The event will take place at the Ionia County Fairgrounds located at 317 S. Dexter St., Ionia, MI 48846.

What are the event hours and schedule?

Friday, August 28: Doors 3:00 PM ET - 11:00 PM ET

Saturday, August 29: Doors 3:00 PM ET - 11:00 PM ET

The parking lot opens at 12:00 PM ET on both days.
Early Merchandise will open at 12:30 PM ET on both days. 
*You cannot line up for early merchandise before 12pm ET on either day.

Tickets & Admission

Do I need a ticket to attend?

All attendees must have a valid ticket.

Is the event all ages?

Yes. Kids 5 and under do not require a ticket but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What ticket types are available?

Both days of this event are now sold out. Thank you!

You may sign up for the official waitlist at billystrings.com/tour to be notified if any further tickets become available.

Are any tickets refundable or transferable?

No refunds or exchanges. All sales are final. Tickets are transferable.

How do I receive my tickets?

All tickets are Mobile Delivery Only. There is a delayed delivery; no tickets will be delivered until 2 days prior to the event. For information on how to download and access your tickets through the Ticketmaster mobile app, click here.

Can I bring my RV?

RV passes are now sold out. Thank you! If you have an RV ticket, you have a 20' x 40' space allotment that cannot be exceeded. 

Will there be bathrooms and showers in the RV area?

Yes, we have both regular and accessible bathroom and shower options. 

Will there be electricity available in the RV area?

Yes. Electrical hookups will be available in the RV area. 

Will there be water hookups available in the RV area?

No. Water hookups will not be available in the RV area.

Are generators allowed in the RV area?

No external generators are allowed.

As a reminder, RV passes are non-transferable.

Is there camping?

There is no tent or car camping permitted on site.

Getting Here & Parking

Can I park my car at the event?

Yes, free on site car parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Proof of event ticket required to park. No oversized vehicles permitted. No overnight car parking permitted.

What about rideshare?

Ride share will have a designated drop off and pickup zone located on the North side of the venue off of Highway 66. Patrons will then walk to their respective event entrance lanes. 

Can I park my oversized vehicle at the event?

Regular parking spots are a standard by 9' x 18'. Any vehicle that does not fit into that spot will not be permitted to park onsite without an RV pass already purchased.

Is there re-entry?

Re-entry is not permitted.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes — inside the venue, we will have a variety of food options including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Bars and complimentary water refill stations will also be available within the venue footprint after doors each day.

Can you bring water into the venue?

One empty re-usable plastic water bottle or one factory-sealed plastic bottle of water (20 oz max) will be allowed.

Will there be water refill stations?

Yes — complimentary water refill stations will be available throughout the venue. 

Is the event cash-less?

Cash or card will be accepted.

Will there be ATMs on site?

Yes — ATMs will be available on site.

Will there be any shade?

The grandstand seating will be available for guests to have cover from the sun. The metal tent will also be a good spot to get out of the sun.

Policies & Safety

Is there medical or emergency support on site?

Yes — there will be medical stations on site on both event days. 

Bag Policy

For enhanced safety and faster entry, guests are strongly encouraged to leave bags at home and travel light. All bags are subject to search upon entry. Permitted bags include:

  • Clear bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"
  • Small clutches, fanny packs, and wristlets no larger than 6" x 9" (do not need to be clear)
  • Diaper bags (accompanied by a child) and medical bags after inspection
  • All other bags including large backpacks, oversized purses, coolers, luggage, and oversized totes are prohibited

Chair Policy

Low profile, camping-style folding chairs will be permitted in designated areas on a first come, first serve basis. Chairs must have a seat height no greater than 9 inches from the ground. No bag chairs, canopies, loungers, inflatable or oversized chairs. 

Poster Tube Policy

Empty poster tubes will be permitted in the venue.

Stroller Policy

Baby Strollers designed to transport children with children present are permitted but subject to search upon entry. Stroller wagons and oversized stroller systems are prohibited.

Tarp Policy

Tarps, towels, blankets, trash bags or any other item that could be used to save space once inside the venue is not permitted.  To be clear, blankets, cushions, and towels are not allowed, even if not being used to save space.

Umbrella Policy

Personal umbrellas are permitted in the venue. Personal umbrellas cannot exceed 42". Beach or oversized umbrellas are not permitted.

Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted in RV camping areas or anywhere on the event grounds. Only ADA-recognized service animals are allowed, and they must remain under control of their handler at all times.

Camera Policy

Cameras with professional lenses, flash attachments, GoPros, drones, camcorders, selfie sticks, iPads or any other tablets are prohibited at all times. Use of recording devices and video cameras, both audio and visual, are not permitted within the venue. 

Taper Policy

Audience recording is allowed for personal use. No board patches. No video. Tripods are allowed as long as they do not obstruct audience viewing. 

Costume Policy

Costumes are allowed, but face masks must be removable for ID checks at entry; anything that resembles a weapon or interferes with security screening is not permitted.

Entry Conditions

All guests and their belongings are subject to search. Guests are subject to search by walk-through metal detectors, metal-detecting hand wands, and/or pat-down searches.

Allowed and prohibited items are subject to change without notice.

Security personnel reserve the right to make the final determination on permitted and prohibited items and reserve the right to deny entry to any guest.
